12 Principles of Animation Flipbook Set

Introduced by the Disney animators Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas in 1981, the 12 Principles of Animation are the fundamental keys to mastering the illusion of motion and physics in animation. This set of two interactive flipbooks is a handy but powerful tool for fans, beginners, students, teachers, and professionals of the animation world to learn and master the illusion of motion and physics in animation. 

Each side of each of two flipbooks contain 3 different sequences – for a total of 12 sequences – animated by legendary animator Raúl García. Flip slowly, page by page, to study the underlying principles, then flip quickly to see them in action. If you like, use it as a coloring book as well and color in the black and white line animations for extra vibrancy!

The set also includes two DIY paper cubes, enhancing the experience with 12 Augmented Reality videos, watchable through your tablet or smartphone.

Set of two flipbooks come packaged in a cardboard storage sleeve; each flipbook measures 4.75 x 2 inches.
