Carved Light Brown Low Vase by Jonathan Yamakami Ceramics

This wheel-thrown and hand-carved vessel by Jonathan Yamakami is made from a light brown clay body. The exterior is unglazed for a matte finish, while the interior is glazed in blue to hold water. Measures approx. 3.75 inches high x 4.75 inches in diameter, and the opening is 3 inches wide.

Jonathan Yamakami is a ceramist based in Los Angeles, CA. His hand-built and wheel-thrown vessels are inspired by sea creatures, botanical life, and other figures from his childhood in São Paulo, Brazil.
