In the context of all her work, she hopes to change the world from within. Cano aims to witness and creatively analyze social realities to find the imaginative pulse beyond everyday routine. As a curator, artist, and scholar, she questions whether Latin American and Indigenous artists’ reevaluation of failure could be an answer to the long list of crashes, disappointments, and bankruptcies –the so-called “unsuccessful” events– that have characterized her culture’s history. As a cultural producer, she shows how contemporary Latin American and Indigenous artists employ these inherited strategies in artwork that has relevance for an ever-evolving and chaotic world.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"The Egg and The Eye","offers":[{"title":"tierra","offer_id":67600144433400,"sku":"28345","price":60.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0616\/6082\/3800\/files\/e3750909-7eab-47cc-8a53-2284c0c9bd5d.jpg?v=1792022084","url":"https:\/\/www.craftcontemporaryshop.org\/products\/elemental-essence","provider":"Craft Contemporary Shop","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
