Woven Tortilla Basket (Assorted Colors)

These colorful tortilleros, or tortilla baskets, are handwoven with colored plastic around a wire frame. Each one has a unique and unrepeatable color combination; we will choose for you and the one you receive may differ from the photo. Baskets measure approx. 9.5" in diameter x 2.75" high. Tortillas should be wrapped in a servilleta or serving cloth inside the basket to keep them soft and warm. Baskets are artisan made in Oaxaca, Mexico and are sourced by Utilitario Mexicano.

A partnership between Libia Moreno and Enrique Arellano, Utilitario Mexicano is dedicated to seeking out simple, useful and beautiful objects, made in Mexico, that have traditionally been part of Mexican life.
