Brass hand clips originated in England around 1820 on the cusp of the Regency period, gaining widespread popularity as ornate desk accessories throughout the Victorian era (1860s–1890s). They were typically cast in brass, bronze, or gilt metal, and were designed to hold letters, papers, and photographs. These modern versions are still a great way to organize and keep all those loose small pieces of paper you have on your desk or in the kitchen by the bulletin board.
We are carrying these in two sizes:
- Small: 3 x 1.8 x 1 in (7.6 x 4.4 x 2.5 cm), 2.72 oz (77.11 g)
- Large: 5.3 x 2.5 x 1.3 in (13.3 x 6.4 x 3.2 cm), 8 oz (226.8 g).
Made in India.
