Carving Kit - Fork

Goals: Be the type of person who carries and uses a hand carved wooden fork. Making your own fork will not only make meal time more special, but the warmth of the handmade utensil will make it taste even more delicious. Now you can be that person thanks to this fun carving kit from Japan!

The kit contains a roughly carved piece of Japanese cypress (the really hard part - the row of tines - has been pre-cut for you), three grades of sandpaper, and beeswax and cloth for finishing and polishing. Basic instructions in English and Japanese are included on the strikingly graphic white paper wrapper.

Carving knives are not included and are available separately - or use any standard penknife. We recommend washing and drying wooden utensils immediately after use, and refinishing carved pieces periodically with fresh beeswax or oil.
