The vibrant blues and greens found in bird feathers are examples of “structural colors”―not caused by pigment, but by the reflection of light. These hues shift with the angle of view and light source. To showcase this phenomenon, naturally shed feathers are sealed in clear cylindrical acrylic, allowing them to be admired from every angle.
A memory of a bird that flew away? For a keepsake, to have at your desk to admire while you talk on your phone, or a gift to a friend, "Birds of a feather, stick together."
Carefully hand crafted from polyester resin and real botanical specimens, making each one unique. During the production process, fine air bubbles or powder-like material may occur inside the cube, however, this is not considered a defect.
To clean, wipe with a soft cloth and avoid chemical cleaners which may cause fine cracks. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or extreme humidity. Note that the resin may yellow with time.
