If you truly want to understand the concept of an interconnected universe, just look at the tiny coral polyp. This marine invertebrate, just a few centimeters in length, interconnects and builds a colony, secreting calcium carbonate, to form a hard skeleton, which becomes a beautiful reef, housing thousands of species of marine and plant life, slowly growing over millions of years to become a bulwark against violent seas and protecting the ocean bed from getting washed away.
Now, who is the small one here!
The beaded and embroidered Coral Brooch measures 2.5" long x 2.25" wide, and comes packaged in a handsome embossed jewelry box with informative notes and care instructions.
Materials: cotton, felt, metal, sequins & beads; all hand embroidered.
Slight variation in embroidery, size, shape, and color is part of the handmade craft and may be apparent between pieces; this is not considered a defect but is celebrated as a mark of being made by hand.
Trovelore is a small makers' studio creating nature-inspired jewelry using needlework and mixed materials. Thoughtfully and ethically handmade in small batches by artisans in India.
