Furoshiki - Reversible Knot - Blue + Orange

Introducing furoshiki - the original eco-conscious, reusable cloth with many uses. Used for more than 1,000 years to wrap valuables and gifts in Japan, any square piece of cloth can be used as furoshiki - but we particularly enjoy sourcing and using decorative cloths with a nice hemmed edge like the one here.

Wrapping a gift in a furoshiki not only makes for a special presentation - it also doubles as part of the present! Furoshiki can be used again and again, not only to wrap items, but as bags, scarves, wall hangings, handkerchiefs, bandanas, napkins, table settings - and more.

This 100% cotton furoshiki has an abstract "knot" design of interwoven swirls. It is made with a special process to have the same pattern on both sides but in different colors. It measures 48cm / 19 inches square. This size is good for wrapping lunchboxes and small items.
