Handmade with care in Kathmandu, Nepal, in a small family-owned workshop that follows fair trade practices and strives to improve the standard of living for their artisans.

Made from 100% organic wool and Azo-free dyes.

The Winding Road works with artisans in developing countries to help improve their standard of living by providing a fair wage and a safe workplace. They've been working with their felt supplier in Nepal since 2012, a couple in their early 20s who had moved to Kathmandu from their village to create a better life. The folks from The Winding Road brought their felt goods to the US, and now have them in hundreds of stores, employing 75+ women artisans. Part of their profits go toward paying full school tuition for their artisans' children.
