Handmade Felt Stegosaurus

You will never be afraid with this dino under your arm or next to you in bed!

These imaginative felt dinos are handmade with care in Kathmandu, Nepal, from a small family-owned workshop that follows fair trade practices and strives to improve the standard of living for their artisans.

Made from 100% organic wool; no chemicals are used during production.

We are carrying two felt stegosaruri:

• Baby blue - and it looks like a baby
• Green with red back plates

The Winding Road works with artisans in developing countries to help improve their standard of living by providing a fair wage and a safe workplace. They've been working with their felt supplier in Nepal since 2012, a couple in their early 20s who had moved to Kathmandu from their village to create a better life. The folks from The Winding Road brought their felt goods to the US, and now have them in hundreds of stores, employing 75+ women artisans. Part of their profits go toward paying full school tuition for their artisans' children.
