Hand-Woven Iraca Toquilla Crowns are inspired by the Chibcha and Muisca cultures of Colombia. According to the Chibcha - Muisca legend, Cucha is the Goddess of the Lunar Rainbow. Wear a crown every day to feel like a queen! Get one for a friend who's getting married! Keep one for Mother's Day. Let out your Inner Flower Child!

We are carrying the crown in a bright fuchsia color.

Handmade in Colombia, S.A.

At Belart, in their solar-powered workshop, artisans transform these palm fibers using ancestral techniques - harvesting, carding, and naturally dyeing with seeds, leaves, and minerals. The fibers are carefully wood-fired dyed and shade-dried before skilled weavers create these timeless pieces. They are thoughtfully handcrafted by master artisans, combining sustainable and natural materials like Tagua seeds, Iraca-Toquilla palm fiber, up-cycled wood, clay, and upcycled horn with eco-conscious metals and resins. By preserving traditional techniques, providing fair, long-term employment, and development opportunities, Belart supports artisan communities while creating unique, safe pieces that are free of lead, nickel, and cadmium.

Belart is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation, Green America, MSA-Museum Store Association, and NEST.
