Iraca (Toquilla palm) is a sustainable Colombian fiber prized for its traditional use in the famous Panama hats, bags, and jewelry. In Belart's solar-powered workshop, artisans transform these palm fibers using ancestral techniques - harvesting, carding, and naturally dyeing with seeds, leaves, and minerals. The fibers are carefully wood-fired dyed and shade-dried before skilled weavers create our timeless fair trade pieces.
