Kangaroo Spirit Animal

This charming kangaroo and baby was made on the wheel, then manipulated, and carved with hand building pieces to make it into a beautiful animal bowl, then fired again using food safe glazes.

The animal bowl has a mixture of shine glazes and mat glazes and texture shine dots all around.

This is a piece that can be use in the kitchen or as a decoration.

Measures 6" high x 9" front to back.  And, 4.5" at the middle where the two pieces separate.

Made by ceramic artist, Veronica Arquilevich Guzman, in her home/studio, each piece crafted individually with clay, using a potter's wheel, or her hands, or both. Guzman likes to play with the forms; alternating, carving and adding texture or pieces to the original form. Most work is fired twice, and she uses a variety of low and high fire glazes to give each piece her signature love and mastery with color.
