Meet Merry the Rabbit, a soft, cotton-knit cuddle friend made for tiny arms and big imaginations. Gentle, timeless, and ready for every snuggle, made from local natural fibers, sourced from sustainable, responsible resources that support Kenya's local economy and take care of our environment.

All 100% cotton organic yarn from a socially responsible farm in Tanzania. Local to the knitters who create these lovely toys, the Kenana Knitters support over 200 spinners and the farmers from whom they buy. 

Created under strict social and ethical standards, they produce cotton to the highest environmental standards and are SA 8000: 2008 accredited, Oeko Tex, and OCS Certified.

The primary purpose of Kenana Knitters is to support women in the local community by directly providing them with a source of income, thus enabling them to improve the quality of their own lives as well as those of their extended families. Kenana Knitters is dedicated to supporting the local community by empowering over 300 rural Kenyan women to knit a brighter future for themselves and their families.
