From a painting by George Henry Hall, A Pomegranate, Siena, 1885.

George Henry Hall was an American painter (1825-1913) who appears to have enjoyed painting still lives of single fruits or vegetables in Italy. Many of the paintings at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, have titles like this one, followed by the name of a city in Italy, such as A Peach, Seville. And to add to the interest of these beautifully painted fruits, the paintings are quite small; this one is 7 1/4 × 9 inches, followed by A Peach at 8 × 6 1/8 inches. Not to be missed if you find yourself in Washington, DC!

Cards measure 5.25" x 4", and come with a white envelope.
