Plants teach us so much about resilience. This is a Haworthia (succulent), that was gifted to me. It seemed dead for a while, but more recently, it has grown more than 3 times its original size, taking over its confinement and transforming itself and the other plants around it.

Produced through sand casting, a process in which liquefied metal is poured into a sand mold made by pressing an original seed onto sand, one of the oldest forms of metal production in recorded history.

The solid sterling silver Succulent Ring is available in sizes 7 and 8.

Inspired by her love for nature and her vibrant communities, Sol, the designer, considers herself an active participant in the BIPOC, LGBTQI+, and migrant groups in Southern California. In her pieces, she draws from nature to craft wearable adornments that capture the lessons of resilience and resistance.

Her work symbolizes strength within historically marginalized communities and celebrates their cultural practices and traditions. Seeds and plants, like jewelry and adornments, are not just beautiful objects but powerful storytellers—tokens that remind us of both our individual and collective power.
