Succulent Stud Earrings by MiCorasol

Plants can teach us so much about resilience. This is a Haworthia (succulent) that was gifted to me. It seemed dead for a while, but more recently, it has grown more than 3 times its original size. It has multiplied, taking over its confinement and transforming itself and the other plants around it. It gifted me a petal to push into the sand (to sand cast) and transform once more.

Studs measure approximately .05" tall x 0.5" wide and are made of sterling silver.

Inspired by her love for nature and her vibrant communities, Sol, the designer, considers herself an active participant in the BIPOC, LGBTQI+, and migrant groups in Southern California. In her pieces, she draws from nature to craft wearable adornments that capture the lessons of resilience and resistance.

Her work symbolizes strength within historically marginalized communities and celebrates their cultural practices and traditions. Seeds and plants, like jewelry and adornments, are not just beautiful objects but powerful storytellers—tokens that remind us of both our individual and collective power.
