These handmade leather shoulder bags are inspired by traditional Tecuán masks used in "the dance of the Tecuánes", one of the most popular dances of the Nahua culture of Guerrero, Mexico, which symbolizes the combat between human beings and the forces of nature over crop protection. Made from 100% leather, it's sewn with visible seams using cotton thread. The mustache and eyebrows are made from wild boar's hair and the eyes are small mirrors. It's lined with water-resistant cotton fabric and is available in natural or dyed-black leather. Pencil marks may be visible where the leatherworking artisans sketched out their design; this is part of the appeal.

Bag measures 6.5 x 8 x 2.5 inches, with an adjustable strap drop of 21 - 26 inches. Additional bag styles are available.
