Wild Rosemary Sympathy Card

Rosemary is a universal and millennia-old symbol of remembrance.
Sir Thomas More (1478–1535) wrote of it, “As for Rosmarine, I lett it runne all over my garden walls, not onlie because my bees love it, but because it is the herb sacred to remembrance, and, therefore, to friendship; whence a sprig of it hath a dumb language that maketh it the chosen emblem of our funeral wakes and in our buriall grounds.”
The image is adapted from a 16th-c. European woodcut. On the back, a fitting excerpt from Shakespeare. An austere, lovely, and elegant alternative to more traditional sympathy cards.
Card measures 6.25 × 4.5 inches, is blank inside, and comes with a recycled soft white envelope.
Printed on 130# smooth white cover stock and packaged in plant-based, certified compostable sleeves.
