William H. Johnson Boxed Notecards

William H. Johnson is primarily known for his folk-art paintings. He’s also recognized for his evolution from realism to expressionism and his work within the Harlem Renaissance. His paintings are characterized by a simple, almost naïve style, with vibrant colors and simplified shapes.
