Work Over School - Art from the Margins of the Inside by jill monitz, guest curator
This exhibit focuses on artists who have honed their instinctive talents through praxis, creating and communicating visual narratives through the daily ritual of work. The premise of the exhibition is that work over (and instead of) school has made these artists successful, not as a repudiation of fine arts programs, but as an expanded conversation about what it means to be self-taught.
